Why Lasers?
Why Lasers?
Fillings without anesthetic sounds like a horror story for most people. But, many fillings can be done without anesthetic and without pain thanks to dental lasers. Traditional dental drills cause pressure, heat, and vibration, which lead to pain. The laser does not produce any of these effects.

Our dental lasers use infrared waves from the "good" side of the electromagnetic spectrum. The infrared waves from the laser pose no health risk; it is so safe that it can even be used with expectant mothers.

Waterlase
Waterlase

The Waterlase MD is a revolutionary dental device that uses a combination of laser energy and water to perform many traditional dental procedures without anesthesia or pain. The Waterlase MD, uses a less invasive approach that conserves healthy tooth structure, which helps teeth function better and last longer.

When the traditional dental drill is used, heat and vibration are the major causes of most of the pain. The Waterlase MD works so fast and avoids both heat and vibration, so the tooth nerve can't respond to register pain. This means no shots or the numb feeling after the dental visit. The Waterlase MD can also perform many soft tissue or gum procedures with little or no discomfort or bleeding.

Diode Laser
Diode Laser

The Diode Laser is a great tool for shaping the gums and removing bacteria from the periodontal pocket, the space between the gums and tooth. Dental cleanings performed with diode laser therapy significantly improve the success of healing the gums. Inflammation, bleeding, pocket depths, and the amount of bacteria are all greatly reduced as opposed to just scaling and polishing the teeth alone. Best of all, laser therapy has been shown to improve circulation and increase the components that speed healing, referred to as Biostimulation. With any oral procedure or surgery, Biostimulation reduces pain and swelling and can help your mouth recover more quickly.

Gum Lift

A gum lift may be performed to create a more even gum line. Patients with a gummy smile can quickly and safely have unwanted tissue removed, thus exposing more tooth to shape a more attractive smile.

Laser Treatment

Soft tissue laser is the latest in hi-tech dental procedures. We anesthetize the treatment area for your comfort. Laser treatment can be virtually painless. Procedure Benefits:

  1. It can be painless
  2. No cutting
  3. Little to no blood
  4. No stitches
  5. Less chair time
  6. It sterilizes the area
Frenectomy

If a patient has an excess amount of tissue that connects the lower and upper lips to the jaw and gum line, a frenectomy procedure is performed to remove the excess tissue. A frenectomy is either performed inside the middle of the upper lip, which is called a labial frenectomy, or under the tongue, called a lingual frenectomy. Frenectomy is a very common dental procedure in the dental world and is performed both on children and adults.

Cyclosporine

Cyclosporine is a drug that suppresses the immune system. It is used in combination with other immune suppressive drugs to prevent rejection of transplanted organs by the immune system. Inadequate immune suppression may result in organ rejection and serious complications. People taking cyclosporine should follow their prescribing doctor’s directions exactly and discuss with their doctor any changes in drug therapy, vitamins, supplements, herbal products, or any other substances before making the changes. Excessive soft tissue gum growth is a common side effect. A soft tissue laser gum contouring treatment may return the excessive gum tissue growth to its normal state
